Bob and Katie Landon founded Landon Winery in 2005. Bob and Katie were both previously in the corporate world in the areas of finance. Landon Winery opened its first winery in McKinney, Texas in November 2005. Due to strong demand for our wine, the second Landon Winery was opened in Greenville, TX in January 2010 where the majority of the wine production is located. The third Landon Winery location was opened in Wylie, TX in April 2017. The fourth Landon Winery location was opened in Coppell, TX in 2019. The fifth Landon Winery location was opened during the pandemic in Grapevine, TX in September 2021. The sixth Landon Winery location was opened in Denison, TX in January 2023.
Bob’s perseverance paid off as Landon Winery is now recognized as being the one of the largest and most awarded wineries in Texas. Our French & American oak barrels full of wine, as well as Bourbon barrel aged wine are just a few examples of what you will find in our production facilities.
Landon Winery has earned hundreds of medals, awards, and recognitions for its wines. Stop by any location to taste for yourself. Better yet, Bob or one of the winemakers will gladly show off the winery and give you a tour and maybe even a sampling of the some of the wines currently in production.
